a) Candidates with previous experience who hold a certificate but require refresher training.
b) Candidates with previous experience who have in the recent past undergone formal training and are considered by their employer to be at basic operator test standard.
c) Candidates who in the past have operated fork trucks but have no formal training.
d) Candidates who have no previous experience with operating forklift trucks (i.e. a novice)
On completion, the trainee will be expected to have attained a level of operating skills which will comply with the standards laid down by the Awarding Bodies Forum 2000 and the HSE Approved Code of Practice L117. The trainee will be expected to complete both the written test paper and successfully demonstrate their level of basic operator skills under test conditions.
